AFTERCARE
USE ANTIBACTERIAL SOAP
Thoroughly wash your hands before applying aftercare products. Wash your tattoo and surrounding skin twice a day with an unscented antibacterial liquid soap & warm water, typically first thing in the morning and again in the evening, or as needed. We recommend and offer unscented Dial Complete Gold Antibacterial Liquid Soap, the active ingredient has been shown to be 99.9% effective against infection causing bacteria (including Staph) when used for at least 30-seconds. (do not use bar soap)
USE NEW AFTERCARE PRODUCTS
Use unscented lotion two or three times a day or as needed. Thoroughly wash hands before applying lotions or ointments. Avoid expired / older aftercare products that have been used previously on another tattoo. Avoid over-using lotions or ointments, thoroughly rub product into skin and surrounding areas to minimize over-saturation of the skin. Avoid using small-batch or unregulated lotions / ointments, especially CBD or Hemp related products - these products generally haven’t been tested for efficacy or safe-use on healing tattoos. The explicit use of ointments for aftercare is not recommended and may lead to healing issues if not used properly.
